How to Measure
At LibasbySJ, every piece is made especially for you. Follow these simple steps to take your measurements at home — it only takes a few minutes.
What You'll Need
- A soft measuring tape
- A friend to help (optional, but makes it easier)
- Wear fitted clothing while measuring for the most accurate result
Step-by-Step Measurement Guide
1. Bust/Chest
Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your chest, keeping it level all the way around. Don't pull too tight.
2. Waist
Measure around your natural waistline — the narrowest part of your torso, usually just above your belly button.
3. Hips
Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your hips, about 8 inches below your waist.
4. Shoulder Width
Measure from the edge of one shoulder to the edge of the other, across your back.
5. Sleeve Length
Starting from your shoulder point, measure down to your wrist (or wherever you'd like your sleeve to end).
6. Suit/Dress Length
Measure from your shoulder down to where you want the dress or suit to end.
Tip: Keep the measuring tape snug but not tight. If you're unsure about any measurement, round up rather than down.
